A rebuild isn't a guaranteed Cup win though. Look at Edmonton, Buffalo, Florida and even Toronto
So much goes into a successful franchise, blowing it up is rarely the answer. Look at St Louis. Halfway through last season Armstrong threatened to trade everyone, they ended up winning the cup
