Dallas deserves credit for being a tough team with a lot of playoff experience and some very good players, but it's confusing that our D has their puck moving abilities contained so effectively and easily.

IMO, it's because they don't have any options. The only 2 outlets are behind the net to the other D, or up to the halfwall to a forward standing still. Both allow the forecheck to continue pressuring.
If the Dallas D are going to pinch the halfwall EVERY TIME, try some plays that will trap them. But no, the Flames just keep doing the exact same thing.
The Flames continually pass to players standing still in the defensive zone. That is a recipe for disaster.
