The video card from my old computer was great and I had only upgraded it about 6 months ago, but it wont fit in this new machine; it's just a little too long. The card is an NVIDIA e-GeForce 7800 GS. The card the machine came with is an NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE.

My questions about the video cards are why wont my old card fit in this new machine? And what should I upgrade to for good performace with my games at the upper quality video settings, that will fit in this thing?

Also, I need a new sound card, because the sound is laggy inside the games and it pops and crackles. It's listed in the Device Manager as "Realtek High Definition Audio" which sounds like a crappy card even to me. What's a good sound card to pick up?
Your old video card is probably AGP and your new board probably supports PCI Express. You'll need a new video card.
