Mixing in some stretch passes should relieve some of the pressure as right now Dallas con commit a winger and dman to the board battle with no worry of an odd man rush going back the other way.
I think the Flames need to shift their overall strategy around managing the puck. It really is aggregating to see them float around the outside in Dallas' end and refuse to try putting some shots on net. It's insane the number of times we've had full possession in their end and overpass/lose the puck instead of simply putting a shot on net. It's why our shot attempts are like half of Dallas'.
Did they see Bennet score off a rebound where all Lucic did was put a shot low from the outside. Are they not allowed to look at tape? Is this Hoosiers and we have to pass 5 times before we shoot?

The Flames are going up the boards with the puck because the Stars have absolutely dominated the neutral zone and the Flames are trying as hard as possible to limit Dallas' defenders ability to shoot from the middle of the ice surface because that's where Dallas keeps scoring from.
