You are not supposed to take injuries as excuses but the Flames are missing their regular season best player.
Using the Bingo justification for Gaudreau, Tkachuk at the very least would take up focus and energy defending against him.
Take Heiskanen or even Benn out of the Stars line up and they would be a lot easier to play against.
