I’m satisfied with the coaching, effort, goaltending thus far. IMO this team is what they showed they are in the regular season, a bubble playoff team. So squaring off against one of the better teams and battling to a 2-2 tie after four games is quite acceptable. This series is winnable and likely going to require a good break or two for the winning team.
After the first 60 or so games last year it was fair to believe that this team had elite talent but I just don’t think that’s the case. As big a sample as 60 games may be, we have seen enough before and after that to suggest that may not be their default level. Good hard working teams that stay healthy can make deep playoff runs though. I still hope that’s what we’re looking at.

Pretty much spot on. Bubble team that is average to good, depending on the night. I'm really not upset at all as I'm not expecting them to win the cup or even make the western conference final. Hoping they can pull through with this series so I can continue to plan some evenings around watching them.
Hopeful that one day before I die, Flames fans are blessed with a legit yearly cup contender squad, that is feared across the league.
One day...
