But they're working hard. And they've given us a few great stories (Bennett's emergence, Dube's emergence, Lucic's resurgence, Talbot's performance, etc).
I'm not sure where the Flames, as an organization, go after this season. We seem to be stuck in limbo again. Nonetheless, I'm just going to try to enjoy the next couple of games (win or lose).

Agreed on them being in limbo, if they don't win this series and have some of the star players take the lead. Lots of questions to be faced at the end of this season if they bow out without having the leaders step up.
Gio being off his game is a big part of that. If he was playing like last year, this series would be very much in the Flames' favour, and whether it is due to age suddenly catching up or something else it is tough to be missing a Norris defenceman.
The strange thing about the questions around the team is that they seem to all be focused on the core top players while the next tier of players are making it look like they're ready for more.
