How soon after it died did you catch the PSU fan not working? Is it possible that there was some heat issues that also killed something on the MB?
Remove the memory modules and startup the computer. Do you hear any beeps? If not then either your memory or MB could be toast.
Hopefully you didn't fry your MB while you were replacing the PSU.
