Well he was in Toronto so that shouldn’t have been the issue..... Almost laid some money on him to win the Conn Smythe, glad that didn’t happen. Yes he is free to quit and go home at any time, just like Boston is free to trade him in the off season. What will happen long term will be interesting, is there a chance his NHL playing days are over? If his heart isn’t in it he shouldn’t be playing.
