That's playoff hockey though. Touch and go chaos. Monahan plays too soft for playoff hockey, his team mates will get jumped and he'll just casually turn away and peace out. He comes across as not wanting to sacrifice his body so he could put up points - but that only results in the other team taking it to him, and when he doesn't push back, it's like a defeat because they lose time and space. I'd shuffle the lines more often and give Bennett more time on the first line, and change it up with Lucic getting a few shifts with 23+13 too
it's too bad they don't play this hard throughout the season, I'm all for them finishing checks regardless of what season it is
