There was a decent chance if he didn't do either of those motions, it still would've pinballed in after hitting his skate though.

Yeah, it's one of those plays where in super slow motion it looks damning. At full speed I just can't agree with the call though. Some of these reviews seem like they need to be exclusively analyzed at full speed only IMO as everything looks intentional in super slow mo (Tkachuk's skate skipping up into Scheifele for example).
