I pointed out to a couple Oiler fan friends who blamed the refs that the penalty minutes in the series were 40 for EDM and 39 for CHI (Oilers only had more because of that too many men call in the last minute of the series), and that EDM had 5 PPG to CHI's 4. Therefore, how was reffing the reason they lost?

Their response? "I said ONE of the reasons!"

Right, so the fact that the refs didn't give EDM a lopsided PP advantage was a reason they lost the series? I guess that does make sense.
