The Ducks didn't wait long to improve their d core after moving out Weber mere days ago.

The trade breaks down as follows:

TO FLAMES
D. Larkin (75)
B. Lizotte (66)
Lucas Raymond

TO DUCKS
Z. Werenski (75)
F. Forsberg (73)
3rd 22
4th 21
Cheese

The Ducks did not like the makeup of our defense after moving Weber, and this trade really solidifies us back there. Having Werenski, Provorov, Theodore and Dahlin gives us tremendous strength back there for years to come.

Moving Lucas Raymond was the hardest part of this deal. I spent a lot of time working on who to draft, and I think he is going to be fantastic.

The reality is though, I have a great team now with great contracts and Ducks fans expect a competitive team.

Thanks Ravi for the trade. You've only been hounding me for Raymond since I drafted him.
