Hockey players are so ignorant with gear until something happens
I knew a guy who wouldn’t wear a face shield until he lost an eye
Another who wouldnt wear ankle guards until he shattered an ankle
I was a goalie and took my neck protector off my helmet due to the noise it would make and also cut and modified equipment making it unsafe
It’s an old school mentality that I hope eventually will die out
Wish him the best and hope he joins their staff instead of trying to play again
