I got fit at Club Champion in Palm Desert and bought through Lakeside in Chestermere. Old set was 710 AP2s and went to P790s. Didn't make sense to order from US supplier with the exchange rate.
When I was ready to throw new irons in the dumpster, I had them checked (lie, length, swingweight) by a friend who had all the gear. Had to adjust the lie on a couple clubs but most were built to the specs they are ordered. Took close to 15 rounds to really get used to the new irons.
I'd go back to Modern Golf. Get them to check the specs. Especially lie, something doesn't sound right.
