If Spector is the chosen mouthpiece for Lowe in assigning blame, and this is the target of the unofficial organizational blame, this is playing with a lot of fire and it's a lot of nerve, and those guys may as well start exploring thier options.
How about teaching these guys those things over the first half decade of their careers, rather then pushing them to try and outscore thier opponents single handledly, and not just trot it out and lament it when it suits them?
I am sure this is from Lowe's playbook of " tough love" torn from the pages of how Slats handled Messier and Anderson in 1983. If this is the narrative in the weeks ahead to hammer on the only players that make that team relevant, expect fire works by the start of next season.
