AppleTV has a lot of harder to find stuff, but all rentals are 6.99, even for crappy 80s fare, and that's highway robbery.
It's just like anything else in todays world, the freedom to choose is slowly being eroded in favour of what certain companies feel we should watch. Thinking of the weird nonsense that used to be available at the local video store just makes me feel like I'm a slowly boiling frog currently in an Orwellian nightmare.

I worry about Disney owning all the Fox titles now they will go back and censor/sanitize some films. Disney + has already made minor edits and removed scenes or changed dialogue to movies like Splash, Adventures in Babysitting and Toy Story 2.
