Nylander should not be traded. His deal is too good compared to Marners.
Due to all the signing bonuses Marner has already been paid MORE THAN HALF of his contract already.
Perhaps there is a team out there who doesn't mind the high cap hit if they have the space because his actually salary being paid out will be much lower for the rest of his contract.
But I'm guessing they keep Marner for one more year and see if he can turn it around. I think signing this huge contract has put a lot of pressure on himself and he seems to be trying to do too much out there instead of letting it come naturally.
I also feel them trading Kapanen/Johnsson is not worth it. Their cap hits are pretty reasonable so I'm not sure they could get anything worthwhile to be put in their place.
