It will all depend on how much it will take to keep him and whether any young players can push him out of his role.
He is a nice player to have, but not a core guy. You really need to be careful how much you pay bottom six players on the wrong side of 30. By next year, if we don't have prospects vying for his job, then it can probably be looked at as a failure in our player development.
