No, that's just a buzz-word the NHL is using to get people to fill in their playoff predictions, NCAA March Madness style. Was having this convo with a couple buddies during the qualifiers whenever that ad would come on about how this isn't even a real bracket, but its hard to explain what a bracket is actually supposed to look like to people who only watch hockey/NHL. They clearly weren't getting it, it was frustrating lol.
EDIT: As for the series, this is exactly the matchup I wanted.. there's a "Big 3" in the West, and then there's Dallas. I felt our new "jam" we showed against Winnipeg would be much more effective against the Stars than a bruising club like St. Louis, who would just beat us at our own game in that regard. But Dallas is still the favourites for a reason, Flames better be ready. Possibly just wishful thinking, but I'll go
