They probably want to release the full first round schedule at once.
Also, CBC likely wants 2 Canadian teams in primetime on HNIC on Saturday. If the Leafs win, they'll likely get the slot, but if Columbus wins, the Habs will get it.
It will also probably have some impact on whether Calgary or Vancouver plays the late game on Saturday.
