What is it with these Stars/Blues games having huge implications for the Flames? I'm reminded of Game 7 between St Louis and Dallas in 2016 where, because the Stars lost, the Flames received their second-round pick in that year's draft instead of their first (as part of the Kris Russell trade).

In the end, it worked out OK for Calgary, which picked Dillon Dube with the Stars' second. Dallas picked Riley Tufte in the first, and he's not even close to the NHL. Not many great players picked around him, either.
