So, in the five seasons since drafting a generational player, and adding to him the league's top goal scorer and the most prolific regular season power play in a generation, the Oilers have made the playoffs once and won one round. It's remarkable how bad that franchise is.
To add to our enjoyment, the Oilers are without a second and fourth round pick in this year's draft and will lose their third round pick this year or next (I'll bet it's next year).
You have to wonder if McDavid is still happy he committed to them for eight years.
