Greatest playoffs imaginable so far.

-The Oilers roll into the playoffs all high and mighty only to get punted by a 12 seed Blackhawks team, Chelsea Dagger blaring again and again over the speakers in Edmonton's own building.

-Wins by the Oilers rivals celebrated in their own dressing room, including the Flames. Was also sweet having our goal horn going off and Ring of Fire playing throughout their rink.

-Flames roll on to win a playoff series in Rogers Place before the Oilers do, also the first series win in the city of Edmonton since the Oilers in '06. Former Oilers contributing significantly for the Flames, Talbot, Lucic, etc. Even Rieder on the PK and with the shorty, scoring a goal in Edmonton.

-Taylor Hall wins a series in Edmonton.

-After the Oilers series loss they get to go home... to Edmonton where they can to watch everything else unfold in their own city.

They wanted that hub city selection so badly and it exploded in their faces in spectacular fashion. Now they're a lottery team again to boot.
