“Unfit” to Play

Welcome to 2019-2020 Jets hockey. Every time we get some good lines together, one of the key players immediately gets injured. We've lost more man-games to injury than pretty much anybody else, and 2/3 of them have been our marquee players.

All of Scheif, Laine and Appleton were deemed unfit to practice.

By mere coincidence, Tkachuck and Lucic and Ronaldo are still unfit to play hockey, yet somehow they get allowed in.

If Tkachuk ends up amputated I wouldn't shed a tear.

Tkachuk is probably better defensively then like 5/6th of our D core.

That was a mismatch.

That Lucic is one hell of a tough customer. There's 2 guys in the league that could give him a good fight, and that would be Lowry or Ryan Reaves. Lucic is also strong and throws these sledge hammer punches.

Credit Bealieu for having the guts to fight him tho.

I do think Adam Lowry may be able to take him on, like he did with Ryan Reaves. Like to see that fight

Realistically, you could've faded our flairs when Scheifele went down, and then extra faded them when Laine was out too.
But dear lord, Connor and Wheeler are invisible. Where'd you 2 go? I know you're being matched against Flames' top line, but that would've been the case no matter what. Like ####, if you were gonna play with that little heart, should've just opted out of the bubble in the first place.

God the jets are so unthreatening in the offensive zone, just flat and staying outside, lobbing soft wrist shots from the point with no screens
