Yeah, I wonder if there isn't a motherboard issue or something.. Obviously it's something far beyond a simple problem for it to be this nasty.
Unfortunately the only one I know is Memory Express, and like you said they're backed up so no quick turnaround. Don't know of any other places that I'd trust.
EDIT: Or let us know the model of motherboard and we can see if we can find how to turn off the onboard video. Maybe it needs a jumper set (old school style)?
