He's honestly been our best even strength forward every time we're in the playoffs.
As a rookie against Vancouver and Anaheim, in 2017 against Anaheim, and last year vs Colorado.
There was that advanced stats puff piece that came out recently proclaiming Bennett's playoff reputation as lucky ultimately (because of his higher shooting percentage), but that completely negates the momentum he single-handedly provides the team with his forecheck and downright punishing physicality. He creates more time and space for himself, his linemates, and his teammates as a whole.
The shifts that the Flames have immediately after Lucic, Benny, and Dube dominate are better as a result. I guarantee it.
