Uh, they haven't.
Since the start of 2018 the Flames have a 7-3-1 record v. Edmonton. In that time Edmonton has won three games in regulation: one of which was a meaningless end-of-season tilt where the Flames rested half their starting lineup for the playoffs.
Edmonton is no good.
