Total aside, but I’ve always wondered about this - where a charity goes viral in this manner. The best example to me is the ALS I’ve bucket challenge. A totally worthwhile charity, but they had this massive influx of cash that they were not set up to handle. Not that I suspect there was funny business, but I doubt they had any sort of plan, kind of like what the Oilers Foundation is now trying to deal with.
