Excellent rebound from the Flames tonight.
Big cliche, but where game two can be summed up with the old saying "hard works beats talent when talent decides it doesn't want to put in the work", tonight the Flames matched the Jets' work ethic and cruised with their superior talent.
MUCH better job supporting the puck in their own zone and the neutral zone plus more composed with the puck. Making smart high probability plays that require energy expenditure by way of skating to the areas that generate success > making low probability hope plays by way of conserving energy for the offensive zone and not getting to those areas. Night and day difference.
I expected the Flames would carry 55-61% of the expected goals (score-adjusted 5v5) in the series while drawing even or slightly losing the special teams battle and tonight they finally managed that with 59%
Job well done by all.
I still like the Flames in 4.
