Is it just as difficult? Is it more difficult? Is it less difficult?
These are all things I can't pretend to know or fully understand.

As a fan, I will never consider this playoffs/cup run the same as others. It's not because of the "difficulty" level, but because of the completely bizarre and somewhat surreal circumstances faced around the world during the same time as this is being played. Nearly all of the normal variables that determine team success off the ice are right out the window. My own interest as a fan isn't even purely on flames success anymore- i have to say that while it will irk me to see them out, I don't really care about them moving on too much. I am just happy to see any team playing on TV. But to me that takes a lot of the passion/ fun out of watching too. I am way less invested.

Anyways, just my opinion. No slight at all to the players or to the effort that will still be required for success. It's not the same.
