Yes, still an asterisk. For me there will be an asterisk even if the flames miraculously come out the cup champs. I will celebrate it, but it will never be the same to me as running through the entire season, into the playoffs, and winning the cup.
Even on the winning team side, the celebration is all wrong: no Red Mile, no victory lap around the ice lifting the cup as adoring fans cheer you on, no giant cup parade...
It would be nice to win, but to me it will never be the same as winning in a "normal" sense.

Obviously it is going to be weird not having the celebrations etc. But the accomplishment of winning the cup should not have an asterisk. It will be just as difficult to win the cup as it always was, so it should be respected just as much as any other year.
