Edit: I clean my traegar probably 5 times a year. My smokestack is getting gross though, gotta give that a good once over.

I have the Traeger Pro 780 pictured here with the hopper at the end.

The pellets are pulled through by an auger. I don’t know if the dust goes through or if any dust that might get into the auger is harmful. I’ll empty the hopper to see if dust is collecting at the bottom. I’ve been hand sifting out some of the dust but don’t know if that’s necessary. I don’t see any dust in the burn pot.
