Treliving's biggest annoyance last summer is that he couldn't ship Jankowski out in that deal or in another deal last summer. He knows full well that Jankowskis season last year on the PK was a pretty big fluke, and to be able to sell high on him was going to be larceny.
This year, the fluke didn't return, and, I think the wind was out of his sails not because he didn't feel wanted, but because he assumed he would just be better than last year by simply just showing up again.
