Even Lindholm and Monahan were throwing the body as well which is great to see. Last year they tried to out-skill Colorado but you know they aren’t going to try that again this year.

Bennett and Lucic combine for 3 minor penalties but otherwise that line brought a ton of energy. They are absolutely going to wear down the Jets if they keep that up.

3R line is so much better than Jankowski/Bennett. Love that Rieder managed to get a shorty — was the GWG as well.

As for the hit, you can see Tkachuk’s skate connect with Schiefle’s lower leg. If it’s an Achilles injury then I’m guessing the Jets will announce it to try and get Tkachuk suspended. If it’s a knee or lower leg injury then it’s just bad luck for the Jets. Either way there was obviously no intent but Maurice is looking to stir the pot to try and help his team.

Sure, but Maurice accusing players of intentionally trying to end a players career is a bad look for the league, and the League should be on the phone with him telling him to shut his pie hole or take the rest of the series off.

I doubt the league takes more then a 5 second look at it, see's MS do a speed pivot, MT trying to compensate and his upper body goes back and his skate comes up because he's off balance and there's contact.

that's what I saw.

I think that if coaches want to do stuff like that, if the league doesn't suspend the player the coach should be suspended. It was a bush league move by Maurice.
