Regardless if there was one on the roster, the goalie that won was not the one that was overpaid for average stats.
Goalies are voodoo. Overpaying for them only handcuffs you where you need it most, in my opinion.
You don't need an all star goalie if you build a team in front of him who can dominate the game in every aspect.

Literally every Stanley Cup team I posted has a star goalie or Jordan Binnington exploding onto the scene. When Crawford and Quick broke out, they were both young and well developed prospects.
You need top tier goaltending to win the Stanley Cup. The Flames continually hire bottom to mid tier goaltending. You can't ignore the fact that Fleury helped Murray (and Murray has struggled since he left).
