Scheifele and Connor do not scare me. Nor would they a lot of teams. Sorry.
Same could be said right now about a lot of the Flames top players. What makes the Flames scary is when they activate their D effectively. When the forwards are moving up on the ice on their own its pretty one and done, but when Brodie, Gio, Hanifin, Razz, now Gustafson who's offensively oriented get involved in plays it does make us much more dangerous because the D is a better puck moving and two way group than most teams have at their disposal. Those times when you see for example Brodie keeping a play alive deep in the other zone or on the rush is like having an extra forward, especially with his playmaking ability.
It's a strength we have to get back to using to our advantage.
