I'm a
huge fan of the Disgaea series. The games are more satire than something serious and political like FF Tactics, but the characters are amusing, the stories are pretty engaging, and the strategy gameplay is pretty deep. Disgaea 1 is available on mobile - don't confuse that with Disgaea RPG which is some other genre.
