I am assuming that would put the next offer at about 2mill a season. I was thinking someone would bid mid 2s so I went high enough to ensure I got him.
I put in an honest bid on Subban just to make sure he went for a decent contract. I’m surprised I was as close to the winning bid as I was.
I missed Kovalchuk by .63 total. But I wanted him at less than 2 and that’s ultimately where he fell.
It was a fun process. As always the predicting is tough and adds to the intrigue.
