And the "luxury" Delta Hotel is attached to, of course, a mall. Having to go up there' a few years back and looking at downtown hotels, rooms were $80 a night a couple years back. The "nicest" downtown hotels in Edmonton, the Westin and Hotel McDonald, are absent, though I assume the Marriott is nice, and otherwise the newest and better hotels are out in the West end if you are forced to stay in that godforsaken town. |
Wait so the downtown hotels in Edmonton don't have a view of the mountains? I am sure I saw somewhere that Edmonton was nestled into the foothills.
