You do the right thing and draft Lafreniere. You then deal Gaudreau in a package for a young centre or get another pick in the top 10 and draft Rossi at 7 or 8 (New Jersey it Buffalo).

Trading the #1 overall would be the most Calgary Flames thing ever.
