That's fair, I was just accounting for the traditional TOR-CGY fleece factor. I also forgot that TOR had solidified their LD. I'll revise my hot-take to Marner for Gaudreau+cond. 2nd/3rd (throw some fun comparative conditions on it like Lucic/Neal - if Marner outscores Johnny by 5G and 10P it becomes a 2nd).
I'd rather have a 200ft Marner on a bad deal that extends/aligns with this team's window than pay Gaudreau or Hall $9M+ for a much longer term.
