I think De Gea has simply become too comfortable. Once the Real chance was gone and he got that new contract, his form took a dive. Probably also didn't help that there have been changes and a bit of drama when it comes to the goalie coaches. Having Henderson breathe down his neck could be good for him, I highly doubt he wants to be on the bench all the time. The sad thing here is that there's excellent competition at the club already, with Romero being a superb backup ... and he really didn't deserve to be dropped yesterday, he's been rock solid in the cup matches and in the EL. Deserves more credit and more trust from Solskjaer, and I certainly hope he'll play all the remaining EL matches.
