I used to slice so bad with my driver I stopped using it for a few years and went 3 wood. Then I got a different driver with a stiff shaft and the difference was incredible. It’s now one of my more reliable clubs, drove the green on a par 4 a few weeks back, even drained the 40 foot putt for the eagle ��

Thing is, I have to swing 80-90% with it or I lose some control. In other words, a regular shaft was way too ‘whippy’ for my swing.

Golf is weird though. Irons can be hot, and then the putter is off. Or your putting is great but can’t hit an iron to save your life. I find a couple beers and a joint makes all that somewhat irrelevant lol

I remember as a junior playing in a tournament. I shot 79 on day one and was tied for first in my flight, day two was literally the opposite, shot a 97. Gotta love it.
