Banff Springs is spectacular. I worked at Kananaskis for many years and played both K and L hundreds of times. Played L after the flood as well.
It was always a treat to play Banff. The original layout has so much history and the design is so old school. You know where you are hitting to on all the holes. I used to call Kananaskis and Banff golf in the mountains and Silver Tip and Stewart Creek(not so much) mountain golf. Banff may not be in the condition some expect but it deals with alot of regulations and wildlife. At $99 I would play it often. It is a resort course for tourists. It is an awesome course.
