Yeah, totally makes sense, but that is sad. Lots of good memories in that place..was definitely too young to experience it in a Flames perspective, but I attended the Calgary Hitmen's first ever game which was in that barn, and just random events I saw there over the years. Actually I think my earliest and fondest experiences there was being a kid at the Stampede watching the Superdogs shows there ha-ha. But when you're a little kid and obsessed with dogs, that's a big deal!

Final thing I saw there was the Back to the Future reunion, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Was a great send-off personally. Yeah I'm hoping they're planning on at least preserving some stuff in there, RIP Corral
