People would come out and burn the images of the Natives in effigy, once they arrived at their final destination they settled in to live out most of their remaining days in prison.

Not sure how other ethnic groups would react if sports teams were named to honour times when they were slaughtered but I would guess they would find it equally offensive.
You may be a bit correct in some terms but your history is decidedly lacking.

" ...eventually a force of some 7,000 mobilized against them—including members of the U.S. Army, state militias, and warriors from various other Indian peoples..." The Suaks actually won two of the battles. Please note...and warriors from various other Indian peoples...

Do you know who Tecumseh and the 6 nations were? They fought with Brock in 1812. They routinely scapled victims dead or injured but still alive. They didn't get that from europeans. Careful who you decide to cancel. North American natives have waged war on each other for at least 7000 years. Further they also routinely took slaves and traded slaves to other tribes. Long before europeans arrived. EVERYONEs history has warts. The Redskins is the only one that's at all questionable. And you have a right to be offended but not to cancel or revise history.
