The people who seem to think that the issue here is the personal, individual victimization of the person who's blowing the whistle have so utterly missed the boat it's hard to know whether to take them seriously. As far as the Harpers' letter goes, it's hilarious that anyone had any problem with it. That thing was the most milquetoast, uncontroversial statement of principles that anyone could possibly have come up with.
