Part of that is that by buying ads in Texas you drive a Narrative that Texas is competitive which gets the talking heralds discussing if Texas is really competitive . This gives you a bunch of free advertising across the country with your message being look at me kick ass and don’t get complacent.
I don’t think the actual state of the race in Texas actually matters with this ad buy
