"The meeting (we had) with our guys is that we owe it to all of (them) to play our best 20. There's plenty that are joining us for training camp that have been up and down throughout the year and what I like about the variance of roster is that there are people who do a little bit of everything. We do have some violinists and we have some guys that can do the pitchfork work. Regarding what job needs to be done, I think we've got the people who have the skillset to do that. There will be competition.

"I'm not a big believer in momentum carrying over from wherever we ended in March to when we're going to start in August. I don't believe in that. You're going to have to create your own momentum. So, it's starting fresh and ultimately we're going to go with the best 20."

Wouldn't be surprised to see Czarnik earn his way into the starting lineup. He's done so the past 2 camps.
